Guiding you through the transition

The Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI) has mandated that all long-term care homes transition from the current MDS 2.0 system to the new interRAI Long-Term Care Facilities Assessment system (interRAI LTCF) by 2026.

How can my organization prepare for this change?
Prior to moving to LTCF, we recommend you take the LTCF training provided by the province as well as complete the LTCF training with PointClickCare. There are key items with this transition that may require review of your current processes to ensure a successful transition such as assessment concept and interface, submissions, and scheduling.
