CMS Changes for FY2021

to Care Compare, Five Star Ratings, and Infection Control

 
During 2020, CMS made several changes that will impact the long‐term care industry in 2021. These alterations include adjustments to infection control procedures and incentive payments tied to infection control, updates to the Five Star Quality Rating System, and the launch of Care Compare, replacing Nursing Home Compare. This session will review the changes made by CMS and the implications they will have on skilled nursing facilities.
