Getting to Know Jen

Jen has a wide range of interests and passions outside of work. She enjoys spending time hiking the beautiful trails of Ontario with her dog Buddy, finding solace and quiet reflection in nature, and seeking opportunities for her continued learning. When she’s not on the trail, she likes getting lost in movie storylines and binging on the latest reality TV shows with her mom.

As an active and passionate ally of various marginalized communities, she’s always seeking ways to educate herself, further the understanding of others, and show up when it matters most. This commitment to inclusivity and empathy reflects on her teams and in her work, where she strives to curate events that resonate with diverse audiences.

Jen’s Journey to PointClickCare

Jen’s journey to PointClickCare is both intriguing and inspiring. She previously worked in a Canadian non-profit youth charity, where their mission was to empower young people to make positive changes in the world and get involved in social justice. Organizing and managing motivational speaking tours across North America, Jen was dedicated to inspiring and enabling youth to understand that small changes can lead to great impacts.

The decision to join PointClickCare was influenced by a best friend who already worked here. “I couldn’t help but be excited and energized by what PointClickCare was and is trying to do for vulnerable populations and healthcare.” After applying and going through the interview process, she had a great feeling about the company and didn’t hesitate to join the team.

Throughout her tenure, Jen worked in two different departments at PointClickCare before finding her place within the Event Marketing team. Regardless of the department or role, Jen has enjoyed making strong friendships, learning from managers and mentors, and is looking forward to many more great years at PointClickCare.

A Passion for Events

Working in events at PointClickCare has been a rewarding journey for Jen. “I love the collaboration and teamwork that goes into events. You work with so many teams and colleagues who are true experts in their fields and the learning opportunities are endless.”

Acknowledging the many challenges that can come with event planning and marketing, Jen shares what makes it all possible: “…when you have a team by your side that has become family, and you know they have your back, that makes it all worth it.”

Equipped with a great team — and plenty of strength, courage, and perseverance — Jen delights in seeing months of hard work and planning come to fruition.
