• Senior Sign: In partnership with Senior Sign, we’re excited to offer a transformative solution that simplifies complex move-in documentation processes. Set to become widely available this spring, Senior Sign eliminates manual move-in paperwork so communities can spend more time engaging with residents, all while supporting compliance.

• EHR for Practice Groups: This new launch significantly expands the PointClickCare network to include practice groups, bringing together patient care and administrative tasks into one platform to enable better, more coordinated patient care across care settings.

• Skin and Wound: The latest upgrades to Skin and Wound enhance speed and efficiency while maintaining automated wound measurements and streamlined documentation. Now integrated with Nursing Advantage, our solution enables faster bedside workflows, reduces documentation burden, and ensures consistent, high-quality care for residents.

Elevating Care with AI and Enhanced Technology

Another core theme at SUMMIT 2025 was the transformative power of artificial intelligence. We presented several groundbreaking AI and machine learning-driven tools — including reporting dashboards and analytics — designed to drive efficiency and better enable care collaboration:

• Partnership with Microsoft Dragon Copilot: In a groundbreaking research initiative, PointClickCare is collaborating with Microsoft to develop ambient scribe capabilities specifically for nursing, significantly reducing manual documentation tasks and freeing clinicians to focus more fully on resident interactions.

• Chart Defend: In development for release later this year, Chart Defend is a powerful new solution designed to proactively scan documentation for potential gaps in care. By identifying issues like missing fall assessments before they escalate, Chart Defend helps protect communities from costly survey deficiencies and litigation risks.

• Nursing Support AI Assistant: Now in the hands of early customers, the new Nursing Support AI Assistant helps nurses start each shift with a clear, risk-based view of their floor. By surfacing high-risk residents like those at increased risk for hospitalization, the AI assistant summarizes key insights from the chart — such as recent weight changes, appetite loss, or respiratory symptoms — while still allowing full access to source documentation.
