Blends Legal and HR experience to fuel a winning corporate culture
Mississauga, ON—August 16, 2022— PointClickCare Technologies, a leading healthcare technology platform enabling meaningful collaboration and access to real‐time insights, today announced the appointment of Orysia Semotiuk as Chief People Officer. Semotiuk currently serves as the SVP, Legal & General Counsel for PointClickCare, and will continue leading the Legal team through this appointment.

Since joining PointClickCare in 2017, Semotiuk has been an influential leader within the organization. Earlier this year she assumed the position of interim Chief People Officer and will now oversee both the HR and legal teams. Orysia has been instrumental in launching PointClickCare’s Women’s Mentoring Circle and has been a strong advocate and supporter of the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion programs.

Prior to joining PointClickCare, Semotiuk was a partner at McCarthy Tétrault LLP and an associate at Stikeman Elliott LLP. At both firms she focused on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, continuous disclosure, and other corporate and commercial matters. She also served as Senior Legal Counsel (Securities) at BlackBerry Limited.
