A Glimpse into Courtney’s Life and Values
Courtney’s commitment to family and community is unwavering. As an uncle to seven and an older brother to two, when he’s not at work he dedicates his time to coaching football for the Under 14 and Under 18 Hamilton Jr. Tiger-Cats teams and assists at local high schools. For him, being a positive influence is key to living a fulfilling and happy life. “My actions and decisions are guided by my desire to be an example in my community for the next generation.” For Courtney, success is about aligning goals with his purpose and making meaningful work a cornerstone of a fulfilling life.
Courtney’s Journey at PointClickCare
As SDR Manager for the Acute and Payer team, Courtney is responsible for pipeline outcomes, SDR development, and operational planning. With nearly 3 years at PCC and in healthcare, he’s become a valuable team asset, leading with a player-coach mindset that keeps him sharp as a leader. For Courtney, the most meaningful part of the role is “the opportunity to facilitate progress for my team as individuals.”
One of the things he appreciates about working at PCC is the flexibility that comes with the hybrid work option. As he notes, “Remote work has been a crucial part of my ability to volunteer in my community. It also makes the in-person connections with my team much more memorable, and intentional when they do happen.”
PointClickCare’s Culture and Values
Courtney praises PCC as a great place to work and grow, commenting that everyone he works with has a strong “why” they choose PCC. He also says that he advises newcomers to lean into their “why” when faced with challenges, which often ignites the spark they need to solve complex problems.
Courtney also believes inclusivity is an essential part of the workplace because it lets everyone show up as their true self and do their best work. He mentions that this inclusive mindset is part of his “why,” as PCC allows him to participate in a culture where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives and talents.
“Having an inclusive culture is important to me because it boosts productivity and helps us become more dynamic problem solvers and value creators. When we embrace diverse perspectives, especially in a care collaboration network, we can better support the ever-evolving and complex needs of vulnerable populations.”
Courtney is a dedicated community member, passionate coach, and role model. His commitment to his team, community, and values makes him a shining example of what it means to be part of the PCC family. We’re grateful to have him on our team.
