Orlando, FL – Nov. 7, 2016 – PointClickCare, the leading cloud-based software platform for the long-term post-acute care (LTPAC) market, kicks off its annual user conference, PointClickCare SUMMIT, today in Orlando, Florida. Over the next three days PointClickCare will host over 1,600 participants, bringing together customers and 59 sponsoring partners to address both the challenges and opportunities impacting the long-term care industry today, and the future trends that will shape senior care. Since its inception in 2011, PointClickCare SUMMIT has continued to grow in size and popularity year over year.

“It is amazing to see how much SUMMIT has grown and what it has come to represent to our customers and partners,” said Mike Wessinger, chief executive officer, PointClickCare. “By bringing together the LTPAC industry’s best and brightest for three days of networking and education, we hope to facilitate new relationships, spark lively debates that shed light on multiple sides of controversial topics, and inspire innovation and new ways of thinking that will ultimately help our customers be more successful.”

From Skilled Nursing to Senior Living to Home Health to Life Plan Communities, this year’s SUMMIT draws subject matter experts that will share valuable insights across the full spectrum of care. Erik Bermudez from KLAS Research will be addressing the changing dynamics of the relationship between hospitals and providers. Additionally, the SUMMIT SmartBar is back by popular demand. SmartBar offers participants the opportunity to get one-to-one time with PointClickCare subject matter experts to learn more about how to maximize their technology investment.
