Passion for Healthcare

Elise first began her career in the education sector and discovered her love for the daily challenges of product management. From there, she had a strong desire to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry, making PointClickCare the perfect destination to combine both her passions. “By working on our products, I am able to extend my impact in healthcare,” she shares.

Making a Meaningful Impact

Working on the product team, Elise finds witnessing the direct impact of her efforts on the lives of caregivers and seniors truly gratifying. “Every product I touch can help our customers to optimize the way they are working with their communities and improving outcomes,” Elise explains. 

By understanding the unique needs of users and analyzing data, the team designs and implements features that address the challenges faced by healthcare professionals. Elise added, “One of the best things is hearing and seeing how the work we are doing has helped to improve the lives of others.”

Product Team Dynamics

Elise has found not only a fulfilling career but also a supportive community within her team, fostering her growth. Collaborating with talented individuals driven by the shared goal of revolutionizing healthcare has been both inspiring and empowering for her. “I’ve learned so much from my peers! I truly feel like I have grown both personally and professionally because of the community at PointClickCare,” Elise states.

Most Rewarding Aspect

For Elise, constantly learning and problem solving keeps things dynamic and engaging in her role. However, what she finds most rewarding is the ability to extend her impact on our customers by shaping the future of PointClickCare’s products. “I have a unique opportunity to bring together various perspectives and translate these into a product that solves problems. The ability to lead and work with cross-functional teams, see a product come to life, and witness its impact on our customers can be incredibly rewarding,” she explains.

Future of Healthcare

Looking forward, Elise is particularly excited about the rapid advancements in AI integration in healthcare. She believes the intersection of technology and healthcare is creating a future where care is more personalized, proactive, and accessible to all. “From early diagnosis through imaging and predictive analytics to optimizing care plans, AI is revolutionizing how care is delivered. It holds the potential to significantly improve patient outcomes, streamline workflows, and address challenges by automating tasks and enhancing decision-making processes,” Elise emphasizes.

Off the Clock

As a new mom, Elise enjoys spending quality time with her son. She is also a dedicated Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoys staying active at the gym. In her free time, you can find her cooking homemade meals or embarking on exciting adventures with her family!
